|
Responsibilities: Builds and maintains positive relationships with the company’s various publics, such as shareholders, media, community, government officials, and business partners. Maintains communication flow between management, employees, and the general public. Duties include, but are not limited to: drafting press releases, designing marketing materials, arranging and conducting marketing/PR campaigns, planning and executing conventions and community events (international, national and in-house), preparing reports, writing marketing/event proposals, managing PR/Marketing related projects, keeping the public informed through media packets, company newsletters, IR news releases, arranging travel and accommodations for visitors as well as for employees going on business trips, researching target markets and current industry trends, maintaining business contacts and responding to inquiries on behalf of company’s CEO, negotiating contracts with venues and vendors, assisting in maintaining CEO’s relations with investors, dealers, business partners and the media. Generates positive publicity and enhances the company’s image. Sets-up speaking engagements, designing and implementing surveys to acquire market knowledge.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with an emphasis or distinction in public relations and 6 months of experience performing public relations work. Experience developing and executing marketing plans and promotional campaigns; writing press releases and distributing to industry related press publications; and experience coordinating events, including negotiating contracts for venue, catering, equipment, and staff fees.
