Asian American Family Services is a non-profit, community-based agency dedicated to serving the mental health and social services needs of the Asian American community in the greater Houston area by providing linguistically and culturally appropriate counseling and support services.

| JOB REQUIREMENTS |
|
Provides individual and family counseling and psychotherapy for children and adults. A full caseload is considered 25 client sessions per week;
· Provide linguistically and culturally appropriate individual, family and group counseling in accordance with ethical standards;
· Maintain clinical records in accordance with professional standards;
· Participate in case consulting meetings with clinical supervisor.

| JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, TASKS |
|
· Licensed or license-eligible in clinical psychology, counseling, social work or other human services related fields (i.e. LMSW, LCSW, LPC-intern, LPC, LMFT, post-doctoral)
· Fluent in Burmese, Chinese or Vietnamese
· Knowledge/training in the culturally competent provision of social services.
· Demonstrated competency in Asian culture and ability to work with people of varying backgrounds.
· Ability to work independently.
· Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
· Willingness to work flexible hours.
