|
The AmeriCorps New Program Coordinator position will have major responsibilities in three growth areas of Rebuilding Together Sutchess County(RTDC). This mid-sized affiliate is located in the beautiful Hudson Valley of New York. www.rebuildingtogetherdutchess.org
This position will work to strengthen our partnerships with the local groups involved in weatherization with the goal of increasing our Green Capacity. The AmeriCorps position will also have responsibilities that will lead to a strengthening of our Lead Safe Work Practices (LSWP).
Finally we are awaiting notification of awards for a new major grant. If we are successful in receiving an award this new funding source will provide for a major expansion of our Safe at Home Modification program. The AmeriCorps position will have responsibility for implementing this expansion.
This position is full time beginning in August 2009. It is an eleven month position. Initial training will occur in New Orleans, LA in mid August.
