JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent serves as a generalist in Human Resources Management providing a full range of services which includes most of the human resources specializations.Responsible for the recruitment and placement of employees in assigned services.Evaluates experience and education to determine applicants' qualifications and develops recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill positions.Conducts placement follow-ups and exit interviews for quality assurance purposes.Responsible for providing assistance to managers, supervisors, and employees in various program areas; staffing, pay and leave administration, incentive awards, classification, employee benefits, retirement, performance management, employee training/development, and special programs.Incumbent may be assigned service program responsibility in specific areas such as training and development, wage surveys, incentive awards, pay administration, classification, special projects/reports, or other areas as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
GS-11-One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 level.Specialized Experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) (or rating factors as listed below) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.
GS-12 -One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level.Specialized Experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) (or rating factors as listed below) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.

Ability to gather, analyze and present data for recommendations/solutions to problems, reports, studies, etc.
Ability to communicate effectively orally, and in writing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
