General Schedule Basic Requirements: Bachelors Degree: that included or was supplemented by (1) a physical therapy curriculum approved by a recognized professional accrediting organization at the time the curriculum was completed, and (2) the clinical affiliation requirements prescribed by the school and 1 year specialized experience at the lower level or band. Licensure: Applicants must possess and maintain a current valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist License in U.S. State/Territory , D.C. or P.R OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 3 yrs of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. Specialized experience is experience equipping the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of a Physical Therapist, and that is typically in or related to the work of a Physical Therapist; such as Extensive knowledge of theory, principles, practices and techniques of Physical Therapy and clinical experience in developing individual treatment programs. EUJD07337698R Physical Therapist Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy - OA - Wiesbaden Germany MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); Provide a full range of direct pediatric physical therapy procedures, diagnostic, and treatment services for the Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS). Pediatric specialty techniques are used to manage clients with a combination of mild to severe physical, developmental, learning, and behavioral impairments from birth through 21 years. Modalities used in treatment include neurodevelopmental techniques, neuromuscular facilitation, and developmental adaptive or compensatory skills for activities of daily living. You will perform consultation and teaching is done with the client's family and school personnel, as well as the members of the EDIS team. Incumbent idependently evaluates referred clients for diagnosis and treatment planning and to determine current levels of functioning.
