Reads and processes incoming correspondence and material to ensure timely and appropriate action. Prepares and consolidates time and attendance data and transmits to payroll in a timely manner. Prepares correspondence, reports, and other documents and ensures for correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and appropriate format. Uses a variety of office automation software in support of the organization. Makes travel arrangements and accurately prepares travel orders/vouchers and maintains contact with travelers. Receives visitors and phone calls and routes to the appropriate personnel and refers conflicts to the supervisor. Maintains calendars and schedules appointments. Maintains and tracks requisitions for timely completion in accordance with procedures. Effectively schedules conferences and meetings. Attends staff meetings and prepares minutes and distributes as required. Accurately prepares and maintains requests for personnel actions, training requests, etc.
