NCDE07082062DR USAR Unit Administrator Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy - OP - Korea MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); Serves as administrative assistant to the USAR unit commander. Assists the commander in the areas of training, administration, supply, maintenance, recruiting and retention, inspections, and liaison with higher headquarters. Coordinates unit preparation for official inspections and command staff visits. Establishes priorities; assigns, distributes, and reviews work of unit sections and personnel, incoming directives and instructions from higher headquarters. Coordinates and initiates personnel actions in such areas as reenlistments, separations, discharges and transfers, retirements, promotions and awards, other payroll/pay actions. Requests for MOS changes, security clearances, completion of officer and noncommissioned officer evaluation reports, unit training and attendance reporting. Gathers facts for and prepares recurring reports. Interviews and counsels prospective reservists and reenlistees; explains benefits, pay, training opportunities, advancement, retirement.
