T38 08-024 Physician (Cardiology) QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level close to the work of this job that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform. Typically we would find this experience in work within this field or a field that is closely related. Because of research and teaching interests at this Medical Center, experience in public health practice and policy implementation as it relates to cardiology is highly desirable. To qualify based on education, submit copy of transcript or list of courses with credit hours, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking. Application materials will not be returned. You can receive credit for education received outside the United States if you provide evidence that it is comparable to an accredited educational institution in the United States when you apply. Specialized Education: Doctorate Degree in Medicine.Candidates who have a Masters or Doctorate degree in Public Health or who are enrolled in an accredited US degree program will be give preferential consideration. You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position. After appointment, you will be subject to random testing for illegal drug use. You must have a certification, licensure, or registration credentials in Medicine for this position. In some cases, these may be substituted for experience and education. T38 08-024 Physician (Cardiology) Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy - Loma Linda (San Bernardino County), CA MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); The applicant must be experienced in patient care, teaching, clinical research, non invasive imaging (including trans thoracic and transesophageal echocardiography), and noninterventional invasive cardiology.Because of research and teaching interests at this medical center, experience in public health practice and policy implementation as it relates to cardiology is highly desirable.The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System is affiliated with Loma Linda University School of Medicine and partners with that institution in our joint cardiology fellowship program.The applicant must also qualify for a faculty position at that institution.
