 JOB DESCRIPTION
This a great opportunity to enjoy the open road while supporting the USO mission. The Mobile USO program is designed to bring a “home away from home” directly to service members stationed in remote and isolated areas throughout the United States. Position based in the Dallas Texas region. USO is a mission-driven organization, which offers a competitive compensation package.  JOB REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a flexible, energetic, organized individual who is mechanically inclined and who has excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Strong time-management and computer skills are also required. As part of a three-member road team, the ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years experience operating a commercial vehicle, a CDL, the ability to travel up to 75% of the time is essential, cross country driving experience and familiarity with DOT regulations strongly preferred. Previous military experience helpful. Drug free, clean driving records, and if not a CDL holder, ability to obtain a Class A or B CDL required.
 
 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES,  DUTIES, TASKS
Responsibilities for this critical role include, but are not limited to preparing a travel schedule and driving the Mobile USO to and from events; coordinating necessary maintenance and vehicle repairs; handling inventory; assisting the Mobile Unit Manager with events, i.e. preparing ready to eat meals, setting up tables, preparing electronics, serving food and beverages; preparing, tracking and submitting expense records; cleaning vehicle prior to all events; assisting Mobile Unit Manager with event clean up; and serving as relief for Mobile Unit Manager, as necessary.
